It has been proven that over 50% of people have skin characterized by an excessive structuring of the external (dead) horny layers. This characteristic is caused by skin rigidity and thickness, resulting in micro and macro-wrinkles.
In such cases, it is necessary to alternate between deep moisturizing and restructuring anti-wrinkle treatments as well as refining and softening treatments. More than twenty years of studies have demonstrated that the use of alpha-hydroxy acids as keratolytic wrinkle treatment is exceptionally safe and effective.
The addition of glycolic acid (extracted from beet or sugar cane) for its penetration capacity, and citric acid (from citrus fruits) for its “millimetric” pH control capacity, has proven to be the winning combination for anti-wrinkle refining treatment. At high concentrations (60-70%), the peeling action takes place in just a few minutes, reserved for qualified medical personnel. Moderate concentrations (8%) with buffered pH, are therefore complete safety, providing moisturizing and smoothing action over the course of a few days and refining action over the course of 2-5 weeks, resulting in almost complete elimination of micro-wrinkles and deep softening of macro-wrinkles.
Excellent results can also be seen in the reduction of liver spots, particularly when used together with spot cream.
Use: avoid application on particularly thin skin. Avoid sun exposure immediately after treatment. Apply as a normal anti-wrinkle cream, massaging lightly in more wrinkled areas, carefully avoiding the eyelids. Significant results have also been obtained on other body areas, such as the neck and the backs of hands, which are often particularly damaged with the passing of time.
There may be a tingling sensation that lasts a few minutes when used on especially sensitive skin. In this case, after about ten minutes it is recommended that you wipe the face with a cotton ball soaked in a witch-hazel tonic lotion and then rinse with fresh water.
